J&K Higher Education Department Lecturers/Teaching Assistants/PTIs/Librarians In Degree Colleges Of Jammu And Kashmir On Academic Arrangement

The Higher Education Department, Government of Jammu and Kashmir has invited online applications from eligible candidates or engagement as Lecturers/Teaching Assistants/PTIs/Librarians on need based academic arrangement in Degree Colleges of UT of Jammu and Kashmir for the Academic Session 2025-26.

The recruitment includes engagement of Lecturers, Teaching Assistants, PTIs, and Librarians on a need-based academic arrangement. Applications can be submitted online through the centralized portal for either Jammu Division, Kashmir Division, or both. The selection will be handled by respective Nodal Principals based on Government Order No: 137-JK(HE) of 2024 dated 01.03.2024.

Online application submission begins from 25 June 2025 at 10 AM and closes on 10 July 2025 at 5 PM. Candidates must upload required documents, pay the application fee online, and follow instructions provided in the user manual available on the portal.

Eligibility Criteria:

For Lecturers, PTIs, and Librarians: A Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/Differently abled), and NET/SET/SLET or Ph.D. is required.
For Teaching Assistants: A Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/Differently abled).
Other eligibility conditions are as per Government Order No: 137-JK(HE) of 2024.

Application fee:
