J&K Govt Postpones Holiday for ‘Urs Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Noorani (R.A)

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has announced a change in the provincial holiday date for ‘Urs of Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Noorani (R.A)’, also known as Alamdaar-e-Kashmir. The public holiday, which was earlier scheduled for October 18 (Saturday), will now be observed on October 20 (Monday). All government offices, institutions, and public sector undertakings as such will remain closed on the revised date across Kashmir province.
