Srinagar, Jun 20: JK Bank XI were crowned champions of the My Youth My Pride Srinagar Premier Division Football League 2024-25 after edging past Kashmir Avengers FC 3-2 in a pulsating final played at the TRC Synthetic Turf on Friday.
In a match that kept fans on the edge of their seats, JK Bank XI, as per a statement, showcased their trademark flair, sealing the title with a hard-fought win. Their performance throughout the season was marked by consistency, tactical discipline, and standout individual brilliance — culminating in this well-deserved triumph.
The league, organised by the District Football Association (DFA) Srinagar in association with the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, witnessed intense competition among the valley’s top football clubs. Held under the banner of My Youth, My Pride, the tournament aimed to nurture young football talent and deepen grassroots engagement in the sport.
Kashmir Avengers FC also put up a commendable fight in the final, adding to the excitement of a memorable season.
