J&K Ball Badminton body revises Sub-Junior National trial dates

Srinagar, Aug 27: The Jammu & Kashmir Ball Badminton Association has rescheduled its selection trials for the 44th Sub-Junior National Ball Badminton Championship, now set for Aug 29 at Gindun Sports Stadium, Raj Bagh.

As per a statement issued, the “My Youth My Pride” Selection Trials-cum-21 Day Residential Coaching Camp ahead of the 44th Sub-Junior National Ball Badminton Championship for Boys & Girls 2025-26 will be scheduled to be held at Dindigul (Tamil Nadu) from 25th to 28th September 2025.

The dates for the 21-Day Residential Coaching Camp are from 30th August to 19th September 2025 at the same venue.

The Association has revised the trial dates to provide another opportunity for young players. During the last trials, participation was comparatively low, and this step aims to ensure that more players get the chance to showcase their talent for national representation.

All district units of J&K UT Ball Badminton have been requested to send their entries by or before 29th August 2025 (before 11:00 AM). It has asked that players may register by contacting the General Secretary at 9682365877 or through SMS/WhatsApp in the format Name, Parentage, Date of Birth, and District.

With regard to mandatory documents for participation, the statement mentions the requirement of district-level & UT-level ball badminton certificates, two passport-size photographs, and the original & photocopy of age proof.
