J&K Admin Orders Transfer, Posting of Several Senior Police Officers – Alfaaz – The Words

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir administration on Thursday ordered a reshuffle in the Jammu and Kashmir Police Service (JKPS), effecting the transfer and posting of several officers in the interest of administration with immediate effect.

As per Government Order No. 485-Home of 2025, issued by the Home Department, Sanjay Kumar Bhagat, Commandant 14th Battalion JKAP, has been transferred and posted as AIG Buildings, vice Amit Bhasin, who shall await further posting at Police Headquarters, J&K; Gh. Jeelani Wani, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kupwara, has been transferred and posted as Commandant 14th Battalion JKAP, vice Sanjay Kumar Bhagat.

Syed Al-Tahir Gilani, Staff Officer to the DGP, J&K, on the other hand, has been transferred and posted as SSP Kupwara, vice Gh. Jeelani Wani.
