Jammu University Project Associate-I Jobs applications are invited from eligible candidates for one position of Project Associate-l in research project entitled “Optimization of evaluated native Bacillus sp. strain D5 based biostimulant for saffron production in non-traditional areas of Jammu, J&K” sanctioned by Biotechnology industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC)-PACE. Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in life sciences and allied sciences

Desirable : Experience in microbiological and molecular biology techniques, such as microbial culturing, DNA/RNA extraction, spectrophotometry and PCR

Monthly emoluments (Rs.)

(i) ₹31,000/- + HRA to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE

or

(b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions.
(ii) ₹25,000/- + HRA for others who do not fall under (i) above

Age limit : 35 years

Details about qualification, experience, remuneration and age limit for engagement of temporary project staff are as follows:

General Terms and Conditions : 

1. The positions are purely temporary and proposed to be filled up on contract basis for a period of ONE YEAR, which is extendable up to project duration based on the progress of the candidate.

2. Contract may be terminated any time by giving one-month notice on either side.

3. The candidate shall have to produce the original documents relating to their age, qualifications, experience, and other claims what so ever before the interview and has to submit a set of selfattested photocopies of the same.

4. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.

5. The candidate shall be required to assist in execution of project.

6. No TADA will be provided for appearing in the interview.

7. The applicants will have no claim implicit or explicit for consideration against any post in the University of Jammu.
