Jammu-Srinagar highway closed, Mughal Road open for traffic

Jammu, Aug 28: The Jammu-Srinagar National Highway has been closed for vehicular movement after suffering damage at several places due to incessant rains.

Officials said landslides and road damage have made the highway unsafe, and restoration work will take considerable time.

Meanwhile, authorities confirmed that the Mughal Road is open and can be used as an alternative route for vehicular traffic. [KNT]
