Jammu Kashmir Road Accident Kills One, Injures Three | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: At least one person was killed and three others were injured in a road accident at Jhinhini Nala near Thanalla Naka in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday morning.

Officials said an Alcazar vehicle was involved in a fatal accident near Thanalla on Friday morning, resulting in the death of one person and injuries to three others.

The deceased has been identified as Rinku Ram, son of Nandu Ram, a resident of Chamba. The injured have been identified as Kalash Kumar (41), a resident of Pota Chamba; Jairam Singh, son of Baghi Ram, a resident of Bhajrota Chamba; and Chander Bani, son of Chamaru Ram, also a resident of Bhajrota Chamba.

A team of police and locals reached the spot shortly after the accident and shifted the injured to a nearby health facility for treatment.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case and initiated further action. (GNS)
