Jammu Kashmir: Old AK Rifle Recovered From Riverbank | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: An old AK rifle was recovered from the riverbank of the Munnawar River in Ambkhori village of the Sunderbani area in Rajouri district on Sunday.

Official sources said that a resident noticed the firearm lying near the riverside in Ambkhori village and immediately informed the police.

Following the information, security forces rushed to the spot along with a police team and recovered the old AK rifle from the area.

They said the weapon has been taken into custody and further investigation has been initiated to ascertain how the rifle reached the riverbank and whether it has any links to past unlawful activities. (KNC)
