Jammu Kashmir: Govt Unveils Two-Month Secretariat Duty Roster for Senior Officers | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: The Jammu Kashmir Government on Tuesday released the roster of Administrative Secretaries scheduled to remain available at the Civil Secretariat, Srinagar, between December 2025 and January 2026.

According to the order—issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) under Government Order No. 1521-JK(GAD) of 2025, the presence of senior officials has been detailed week-wise.

From December 1 to 5, 2025, Saurabh Bhagat (IAS), Commissioner/Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, and Sarmad Hafeez (IAS), Commissioner/Secretary, Social Welfare Department, will be available at the Secretariat.

Between December 8 and 12 2025, Santosh Dattatraya Vaidya (IAS), Principal Secretary, Finance Department, and Zubair Ahmad (JKAS), Commissioner/Secretary, Floriculture, Parks and Gardens Department, will remain stationed in Srinagar.

From December 15 to 19 2025, Principal Secretary, Home Department, Chandrakar Bharti (IAS), and Administrative Secretary, Labour and Employment Department, Kumar Rajeev Ranjan (IAS), will attend Secretariat duties.

During December 22 to 26, 2025, Secretary, Public Grievances Department, Niraj Kumar (IAS), and Administrative Secretary, Transport Department, Avny Lavasa (IAS), will be available.

From December 29, 2025 to January 2, 2026, Prasad Ramswamy G (IAS), Secretary, Tribal Affairs Department, and Ram Niwas Sharma (IAS), Secretary, School Education Department, will remain present at the Civil Secretariat.

The roster aims to ensure seamless administrative functioning during the winter period.
