SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir General Administration Department has issued a firm warning to administrative officers over delays in submitting and processing the Annual Performance Reports (APRs) of JKAS officers.

Noting a substantial backlog for the 2023–24 and 2024–25 assessment years, the government has provided a final opportunity for officers to complete all pending files through the J&K SPARROW platform.

According to the government order, all APRs for the 2023–24 cycle must be finalised by 31 March 2026, beyond which the submission portal will be permanently closed.

For the 2024–25 cycle, a strict timetable has been issued: reporting officers are required to submit their reports by 7 April, while accepting authorities must complete their assessments by 28 April.

Authorities have cautioned that any reports left incomplete after these deadlines will be automatically “force forwarded” and closed, as the competent authority seeks to enforce accountability and ensure a more efficient administrative process.
