Jammu Kashmir Govt Denies 5-Marla Land Plan for Border Residents | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Wednesday stated that it has no proposal to allot five marlas of land to residents of border areas.

The clarification was issued in the Legislative Assembly in response to a question by MLA Rajeev Kumar Bhagat, who had sought to know whether the government planned to provide land at safer locations for people living along the borders.

Replying to the query, the Minister Incharge of Revenue said that no such proposal is presently under consideration.
