Jammu Kashmir Govt Activates Helpline for Residents Returning from Iran | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday activated dedicated 24×7 helplines to assist residents of the Union Territory returning from Iran.

According to an advisory, the decision follows an advisory released by the Embassy of India in Tehran on February 23, 2026.

The helplines are aimed at facilitating information-sharing and providing assistance to JK residents returning from Iran.

The advisory states that the helplines will remain operational round the clock to ensure necessary support and coordination.

The helpline numbers issued are Hello JK: 7303620090 and Control Room: 011-24611108, 011-24611210.

The move comes amid growing concerns over the prevailing situation in Iran, prompting advisories for Indian nationals to return home.
