Jammu Kashmir: First Leg of Budget Session Concludes | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: The first leg of the budget session of the Jammu Kashmir Assembly concluded on Friday, with the House scheduled to reassemble on March 27 to pass the Appropriation Bill for the 2026-27 budget.

Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather announced that House will reassemble on March 27, when it will reconvene to pass the Appropriation Bill-a step required to formally approve the budget.

During the second leg of the session, the House will consider Appropriation Bill, Private Members Bills and Resolutions alongside other government business. (KNO)
