Jammu Kashmir: Fire Destroys Two Residential Houses | Kashmir Life

SRINAGAR: Two residential houses were completely destroyed in a fire at Village Arai, Tehsil Mandi, Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, officials said.

The homes belonged to Gulam Din Tantry, son of Mohammad Abdullah, and Abdul Qayoom, son of Gulam Din, both residents of the village.

Fire and Emergency Services teams rushed to the scene and brought the blaze under control, preventing further damage.

Officials reported that household goods and property worth several lakhs were lost, but no casualties or injuries were recorded.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation. (KNC)
