Jammu Kashmir: BSF Porter Dies After Fall From Height

SRINAGAR: A porter associated with the Border Security Force (BSF) 153 Battalion died after reportedly falling from a height at Chamber Kanari (Baran) area in Poonch district on Monday.

Officials said that the deceased has been identified as Mushtaq Ahmed, 32, a resident of Sawjian.

They said the porter slipped and fell while performing his duties, leading to his death on the spot.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident, and further proceedings have been initiated. (KNC)
