SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir Bank on Thursday unveiled a comprehensive set of new digital products and IT services aimed at enhancing transaction convenience, strengthening security, and offering a seamless banking experience for its customers. The launch event was held at the Bank’s Corporate Headquarters, with MD CEO Amitava Chatterjee inaugurating the products virtually from the Jammu office.

The newly introduced offerings include the RuPay Platinum Credit Card, Automated Digital Fraud Management system, Re-KYC via mPay Delight+, personalised cheque book issuance through mPay Delight+, the JK Bank Voice Pod App, and a simplified IMPS platform. These initiatives are part of the Bank’s ongoing digital transformation strategy to move towards an omni-channel, tech-enabled model of banking.

Speaking at the event, Chatterjee emphasised that “digital transformation is no longer a choice—it is the spine of modern banking,” adding that the new products enable customers to bank anytime, anywhere with confidence. He highlighted the Voice Pod App, which provides voice-assisted UPI notifications without additional hardware, and the RuPay Platinum Credit Card, supporting QR, tap-and-pay, and app-based payments across all major UPI applications.

The MD CEO urged operational heads to actively promote these services and educate customers about their features, stressing that the initiative’s success depends on widespread adoption. Executive Director Sudhir Gupta lauded the Bank’s technology teams for strengthening the digital framework and noted that these services will adapt to evolving customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

General Manager (Strategy IT) Mohammad Muzaffar Wani outlined that these products integrate advanced technologies to offer a secure, convenient, and superior banking experience. The Automated Digital Fraud Management system, linked with the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal, enables real-time tracking of suspicious transactions, while Re-KYC via mPay Delight+ allows seamless digital updates without branch visits.

The IMPS revamp supports instant, interoperable 24×7 transfers using just a mobile number and bank name, and the personalised cheque book service offers doorstep delivery. Earlier, the RuPay Platinum Credit Card was unveiled at the NPCI Pavilion during the Global Fintech Fest 2025 in Mumbai.

Senior officials, including Executive Director Sudhir Gupta, CGMs Sunit Kumar and Imtiyaz Ahmad Bhat, and Divisional and Zonal Heads attended the event virtually and in person, marking a major step forward in JK Bank’s digital banking journey.
