
Srinagar, Mar 31: District Jammu emerged as the overall winner with 57 medals as the 19th UT Jammu and Kashmir Wushu Championship 2025 concluded at the Indoor Hall, Bhagwati Nagar, with around 1,200 players from 25 teams participating across the Union Territory.
As per a JKSC statement issued, district Jammu emerged as the overall winner with 57 medals, followed by District Srinagar and Khelo India Centre Jammu in second and third positions respectively.
The closing ceremony was graced by minister of youth services and sports Satish Sharma, who appreciated the efforts of organisers in providing a platform for youth. The championship showcased high-level competition and reflected the growing strength of wushu in Jammu & Kashmir.
