Srinagar, July 29: The Jammu and Kashmir has constituted a committee under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar to examine the issue of cracks reported on the Bemina Flyover, part of the Srinagar-Baramulla Highway Bypass, officials confirmed to the Graeter Kashmir on Tuesday.
According to a government order No.:989-JK(GAD) of 2025, “Sanction is hereby accorded to the constitution of committee….to examine, assess and report on the issue of cracks on the Bemina Flyover, part of the Srinagar-Baramulla Highway Bypass”
As per the order, the committee comprises the following:
Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar – Chairman
Engineer-In-Chief, Public Works (R&B) Department – Member
Chief Engineer, PW(R&B) Kashmir – Member
Chief Engineer, Srinagar Smart City Limited (SSCL) – Member
Chief Engineer, Design, Inspection & Quality Control, Kashmir – Member
Senior Superintendent of Police, Traffic, Srinagar – Member
One Expert from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Srinagar – Member
Any other member as may be co-opted by the Chairman – Member
