IUST Engagement For Consultant (Administration) Post On Contract Basis – Apply Online

Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST), Kashmir has invited online applications from eligible candidates for the post of Consultant (Administration). The position is purely contractual and intended for experienced retired officers for short-term engagement.

As per the official notice, the appointment is initially for six months with a monthly consolidated remuneration of Rs. 35,000. Candidates must have prior administrative experience in higher education institutions or government departments and should not be more than 63 years old as on the last date of application.

The application form will be available from 20 June 2025 and the last date to apply is 30 June 2025 (by 4:30 PM). Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500 through online payment modes.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must be retired Section Officers, Assistant Registrars or equivalent rank officers from any recognized University or Administrative Departments of Government of Jammu and Kashmir. They should be well-versed in handling administrative matters related to institutions of higher education, especially maintenance of service records and service books. The maximum age limit is 63 years as on the last date of application submission.
