The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), Awantipora has released an official advertisement inviting applications for the post of Project Associate-I in the Department of Chemistry. The vacancy is under a research project sanctioned by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) Early Career Research Grant (ECRG) scheme.
The project, led by Dr. Noor U Din Reshi as Principal Investigator, focuses on the design and synthesis of chelating N-heterocyclic imine ligand-based transition-metal catalysts for CO₂ reduction and related (de)hydrogenation-type transformations.

IUST Project Associate Post Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must possess M.Sc. in Chemistry with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent CGPA. Desirable qualifications include prior experience in organic/inorganic synthesis and catalysis.
The maximum age limit for applicants is 50 years.
Monthly Stipend:
Candidates selected for the position will receive the following stipend:
– Rs. 37,000/month + HRA (for NET/GATE qualified candidates)
– Rs. 30,000/month + HRA (for others)
