IUST Awantipora Assistant Professor Posts In Vocational Studies, Check Vacancy Details

Islamic University of Science & Technology (IUST), Awantipora has released an official advertisement inviting online applications for contractual engagement of Assistant Professor(s) in the Centre for Vocational Studies. A total of 3 posts are available — 2 in Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology and 1 in Operation Theater Technology.

As per the notification issued on 30 June 2025, the engagement will be on an academic arrangement basis up to 31 December 2025 or until the posts are filled substantively, whichever is earlier. The monthly remuneration ranges from Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 50,000 depending on the candidate’s qualification. The selection will be based strictly on UGC regulations through interview only.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must have a Master’s degree in either Medical Radiology & Imaging Technology or Operation Theatre Technology with at least 55% marks. Additionally, they must have qualified NET/SET/SLET or hold a Ph.D. in accordance with UGC regulations. Candidates with Ph.D. from top 500 ranked foreign universities are also eligible. NET is not required for subjects where it is not conducted.

Monthly Salary for AP Posts:
The monthly salary is as follows: Rs. 45,000 for PG holders, Rs. 48,000 for those with NET/SET/GATE, and Rs. 50,000 for candidates with Ph.D. or both NET and Ph.D.
