IRCTC Hospitality Monitor Recruitment 2026, Walk-in For 84 Posts, Salary ₹30,000

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation South Zone has released an official notification inviting eligible candidates to attend walk-in-interview for Hospitality Monitor posts on contractual basis. A total of 84 vacancies are available and the engagement will be for an initial period of two years, extendable by one more year based on requirement and satisfactory performance.

Eligibility Criteria of IRCTC Hospitality Monitor Vacancies

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must possess any one of the following full-time qualifications:

B.Sc. in Hospitality and Hotel Administration
OR
BBA/MBA in Culinary Arts from Indian Culinary Institutes under Ministry of Tourism
OR
B.Sc. Hotel Management and Catering Science
OR
MBA in Tourism and Hotel Management from Government recognized Universities affiliated to UGC/AICTE/Government of India/State Government or institutions affiliated to National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology.

Freshers with relevant educational qualification can also apply.

Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 27 years as on 01-04-2026.

Age Relaxation: Upper age is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for PwBD candidates. Ex-Servicemen age relaxation will be given as per Government guidelines.

Other Requirements: Candidates must have good communication skills in English and Hindi. Knowledge of local languages such as Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam will be an added advantage.

Medical fitness test will be required for selected candidates.

Salary Details

Selected candidates will receive consolidated remuneration of ₹30,000 per month including statutory deductions and applicable allowances.

Additional Allowances:

Daily Allowance: ₹350 per day during train duty
Lodging Charges: ₹240 if night stay is required
National Holiday Allowance: ₹384 per day
Medical Insurance: Up to ₹1400 per month for age up to 35 years and ₹2000 per month for age between 36 to 50 years

Selection Process

Selection will be based on personal interview.

Candidates must submit the filled application form at the interview venue along with original documents, one set of attested copies and three recent passport size photographs.

Final selection will be based on performance in the interview and verification of credentials.
