Installation of toll plaza criticised

Rajouri, Jul  8: Proposed installation of a Toll Plaza on Akhnoor – Jammu stretch of four lane road has become a topic of debate and discussion in society with people raising their concern over increasing number of toll plazas in Jammu.

A former Cabinet Minister and member of National Executive Council of BJP, Ch Zulfkar Ali has also decried proposed setting up of this toll plaza on an incomplete road.

On Jammu Akhnoor stretch of four lane road, the work of which is yet to get completed, the concerned agency has reportedly taken up work for proposed establishment of a Toll Plaza at Sua Gate Number 1.

The start of work has attracted sharp reaction from members of society with most of the people considering it as another toll plaza enforced on people of Jammu.
