Inquiry Officer Seeks Statements from Witnesses in SMHS Incident

SRINAGAR: The officer appointed to probe the July 23, 2025 incident at Government SMHS Hospital in Srinagar has called on members of the public to come forward with any relevant information.

According to an official statement, Baseer ul Haq Chaudhary, Mission Director of the National Health Mission, Jammu and Kashmir, who is serving as the Inquiry Officer in the case, has invited individuals with knowledge of the incident to submit their statements.

Persons willing to provide information or evidence can submit a written or audio statement, along with full personal details, at the office of the Mission Director, National Health Mission, located in the Old Secretariat, Srinagar. Submissions will be accepted during office hours until August 9, 2025.
