Indian Navy has released the official notification inviting applications from interested and eligible candidates for Agniveer (MR Musician) 02/2026 (Jul 26 Batch) posts. The vacancies will be decided based on service requirement.

Eligibility Criteria of Indian Navy Agniveer Vacancies

Candidates must meet the required educational qualification, age limit and other conditions.

Educational Qualification:

• Candidate must have passed Matriculation (10th) with minimum 50 percent marks from a recognised board.
• Candidate must have proficiency and aptitude for music.
• Candidate must be able to sing one complete song with correct pitch and tempo.
• Candidate must have practical skill on any musical instrument of Indian or foreign origin.

Age Limit:

• Candidate must be born between 01 July 2004 to 31 December 2008 (both dates inclusive).

Marital Status:

• Only unmarried male and unmarried female candidates are eligible.
• Candidates are not permitted to marry during the four-year tenure.

Physical Standards:

• Minimum Height: 157 cm (Male and Female)
• Visual Standards: 6/12, 6/12 (Uncorrected) and 6/6, 6/6 (Corrected) with CP Pass.

Musical Requirements:

• Candidate should have proficiency on keyboard, string, wind instruments or other musical instruments.
• Candidates using non chromatic instruments like bugle or monotone instruments are not eligible.
• Musical experience certificate from recognised institute or organisation may be required depending on instrument type.

Pay Details of Indian Navy Agniveer (MR Musician) Recruitment 2026

Selected candidates will receive salary and benefits as per Agniveer scheme.

• First Year Pay: ₹30,000 per month
• Second Year Pay: ₹33,000 per month
• Third Year Pay: ₹36,500 per month
• Fourth Year Pay: ₹40,000 per month

Selection Process

• Shortlisting based on marks obtained in Matriculation examination.
• Physical Fitness Test (PFT).
• Written Examination.
• Music Ability Test.
• Recruitment Medical Examination.
