Indian Army SSC Tech 2025 Notification Released For 381 Posts For Men, Women And Widows

The Indian Army has released a notification inviting online applications for the Short Service Commission (SSC) Technical Entry Scheme 2026. This notification is open to eligible unmarried male and female engineering graduates, as well as widows of Defence Personnel who died in harness. The course is scheduled to begin in April 2026 at the Pre-Commissioning Training Academy (PCTA).

According to the official notification, there are a total of 381 vacancies across various categories. Candidates must hold a B.E./B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline. For SSC Tech Men and Women, the age limit is between 20 to 27 years as on 01 April 2026, while for widows, the maximum permissible age is 35 years. Selection will be done through shortlisting, followed by an SSB interview and a medical test.

Eligibility Criteria:
