Lolab: The Indian Army celebrated the 77th Republic Day at Daradpora in the Lolab area on Monday, marking the occasion with patriotic fervour and reaffirming its bond with the local community.
The programme began with the hoisting of the National Flag at Dar-ul-Ilum, Haji Moh, symbolising unity, national pride, and reverence for the Constitution of India. The ceremony was attended by a large gathering of local residents, including elders, youth, and children.
As part of the celebrations, a Tiranga Rally was organised from Haji Moh to Kumar Moh, Daradpora. People from all walks of life participated in the rally, carrying the Tricolour and expressing a collective spirit of nationalism, unity, and harmony.
The event highlighted the spirit of togetherness between the Indian Army and the local population, conveying a message of mutual trust and shared commitment towards peace, development, and security in the region.
On the occasion, the Indian Army reiterated its resolve to serve the people and uphold the constitutional values of the nation, while continuing efforts to strengthen peace and stability in the area.
