Eligibility Criteria of Indian Army Agniveer Vacancies

Candidates awaiting 10th result can apply but must produce original marksheet during Phase II.

Upper age limit is relaxable up to 30 years for widows of Defence personnel who died in harness as per rules.

Physical Standards

Height: 162 cm
Chest Expansion: 5 cm

Weight will be as per BMI standards based on height and age as given in the official chart.

Height relaxation of 4 cm is applicable for candidates belonging to North East Region, Gorkhas, Garhwalis, Ladakher and recognized tribal areas.

Phase I – Online Common Entrance Exam (CEE)
Phase II – Recruitment Rally

Recruitment Rally includes:

• Physical Fitness Test
• Physical Measurement Test

Physical Fitness Test

1.6 Km Run
Group I: Up to 7 Min 45 Sec
Group II: 7 Min 46 Sec to 8 Min 30 Sec

Long Jump: 10 Feet (Qualifying)
High Jump: 3 Feet (Qualifying)

Medical Standards

Candidates must be physically and mentally fit. Detailed medical examination will be conducted as per Army standards.

Final Merit List

Final merit list will be prepared based on aggregate marks scored in CEE and performance in PFT, if applicable.

Salary Structure

1st Year: Rs 30,000 per month
2nd Year: Rs 33,000 per month
3rd Year: Rs 36,500 per month
4th Year: Rs 40,000 per month

In addition, Risk and Hardship, Ration, Dress and Travel allowances are applicable.
