Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2027 Notification ARO Srinagar

Indian Army has released the official notification inviting applications from unmarried male candidates for Agniveer Intake 2027 under the Agnipath Scheme. The recruitment is being conducted by Army Recruiting Office, Srinagar.

Online registration will start from 13 February 2026 and continue till 01 April 2026. The online exam is tentatively scheduled from 01 June to 15 June 2026. Applications are invited from domiciles of Srinagar, Anantnag, Baramulla, Pulwama, Budgam, Kupwara, Shopian, Ganderbal, Bandipora and Kulgam districts of UT of J&K.

Date of Birth: Candidates born between 01 July 2005 to 01 July 2009 (both days inclusive) are eligible.

Physical Standards

Pay and Benefits

On completion of four years, candidates will receive approximately 10.04 lakh as Seva Nidhi package (excluding interest). Life insurance cover of 48 lakh is provided during the engagement period.

Selection Process

The recruitment will be conducted in two phases:

Phase I: Online Common Entrance Examination (CEE).

Phase II: Recruitment Rally including Physical Fitness Test, Physical Measurement Test and Medical Examination.
