Indian Air Force Invites Online Applications For Agniveervayu Intake 02/2026

The Indian Air Force has released the official notification inviting online applications for Agniveervayu Intake 02/2026 under the Agnipath Scheme. Both unmarried male and female Indian citizens are eligible to apply. This is a four-year engagement program providing youth with the opportunity to serve in the Air Force and gain experience along with salary, allowances, and a Seva Nidhi package after exit.

As per the notification, the age limit for candidates is between 17.5 and 21 years. The selection process will include three phases: an online test, physical fitness and adaptability tests, followed by a medical examination. The online test is scheduled to begin from 25 September 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have passed 10+2 with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% in English. Science stream applicants must have studied Physics and Math, or hold a 3-year Diploma in Engineering or 2-year Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects. Other streams require 10+2 in any discipline with 50% marks and 50% in English or an equivalent vocational course. Candidates must be born between 2 July 2005 and 2 January 2009, and not be over 21 years at the time of enrolment.

The selection of candidates will be on the basis of an online written test (Phase I), followed by a Physical Fitness Test and Adaptability Tests (Phase II), and a final Medical Examination (Phase III).
