Indian Air Force Airman Intake 02/2026 Notification Out For Medical Assistant Trade

Indian Air Force has officially invited online applications from eligible male candidates across India and Gorkha (Nepal) citizens for the Airman Intake 02/2026. This recruitment is for Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) Medical Assistant Trade. Candidates will be selected through an online examination, physical test, adaptability tests, and a medical examination.

As per the notification, unmarried candidates with 10+2 qualifications should be born between 02 July 2005 and 02 July 2009. Those with Diploma/B.Sc in Pharmacy must meet separate age conditions based on marital status. The online exam will be held starting from 25 September 2025 and selected candidates will receive monthly pay of ₹26,900 after training.

Vacancy Details:
This recruitment drive aims to fill vacancies in Group ‘Y’ Medical Assistant Trade for Airmen.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:
For 10+2 candidates, applicants must have passed 10+2/Intermediate or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English with at least 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. Candidates who completed two years vocational course with the same subjects and required marks are also eligible.
For candidates with Diploma or B.Sc in Pharmacy, they must have passed 10+2 with PCB and English (50% marks), and hold a Diploma/B.Sc in Pharmacy with 50% marks along with valid registration from State Pharmacy Council or PCI at the time of enrolment.

Age Limit:
Maximum age at enrolment is 21 years for 10+2 candidates and 24 years for Diploma/B.Sc holders.

How to Apply:

Application Fee:
Candidates are required to pay an examination fee of ₹550 + GST through online mode while registering.

Selection Process:
Selection will be done on the basis of a multi-phase process including Online Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Adaptability Tests I & II, and Medical Examination. The online test will consist of English, Reasoning and General Awareness (RAGA), and will last for 45 minutes. Candidates must qualify each paper separately.
