India-US Trade Deal Talks Gain Momentum, Business Council Sees High Ambition

US India Business Council President Atul Keshap has expressed optimism over the progress of negotiations between India and the United States, saying ambition remains high on both sides. Speaking on the evolving economic partnership, Keshap said both governments have engaged in extensive discussions over the past year to strengthen bilateral trade and investment ties. He noted that serious work has been undertaken to reinforce the economic relationship and said the business community remains hopeful that a deal will be concluded soon. According to Keshap, the proposed agreement has the potential to unlock greater economic opportunities and shared prosperity for people in both countries.
