The Office of the Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, has announced Income Tax Recruitment 2025 for 56 vacancies in Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), Tax Assistant (TA), and Stenographer Grade-II (Steno) positions. The recruitment is exclusively for meritorious sportspersons who have represented their state or country in recognized sports tournaments.

Pay Scale / Salary

Candidates selected for Income Tax Recruitment 2025 will receive the following salary under 7th CPC Pay Matrix:

Stenographer Grade-II (Steno) / Tax Assistant (TA): ₹ 25,500 – ₹ 81,100 (Level 4)
Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): ₹ 18,000 – ₹ 56,900 (Level 1)

Eligibility Criteria of Income Tax Vacancies

Application Process for Income Tax Recruitment 2025

Selection Process

The selection process for Income Tax Recruitment 2025 includes:

1. Document Verification

Candidates will be shortlisted based on sports achievements and educational qualifications.

2. Skill Test (For Steno & Tax Assistant only)

Stenographer: Dictation test (10 minutes @ 80 w.p.m) and Transcription (50 w.p.m in English, 65 w.p.m in Hindi).
Tax Assistant: Data Entry Skill Test (8000 key depressions per hour).
