ICMR NIIH Announces Vacancies For Assistant, Clerk, Technician And More Posts

ICMR – National Institute of Immunohaematology (NIIH), Mumbai has invited online applications for various administrative and technical positions. The institute has announced a total of 11 vacancies including posts such as Assistant, Clerk, Technician, Lab Attendant and others.

As per the notification dated 25 July 2025, candidates who have passed 10th, 12th or hold a graduate degree are eligible to apply. The pay scale ranges from Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 1,12,400 depending on the post. The age limit varies from 18 to 30 years. Selection will be done through Computer Based Test, Skill Test and Document Verification.

Important Dates:
The registration process for ICMR NIIH posts began on 25 July 2025. The last date to apply online is 14 August 2025. The admit cards will be released in the second week of September 2025 and the CBT/Skill Test is scheduled in the third and fourth week of September 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:
Assistant requires a bachelor’s degree with computer knowledge.
UDC requires a degree with typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi.
LDC requires 12th pass with the same typing criteria.
Personal Assistant requires a degree and shorthand speed of 120 wpm.
Technical Assistant requires B.Sc. in Biological Sciences or Biotech.
Technician-1 requires 12th pass in science stream and DMLT.
Lab Attendant-1 requires 10th pass with one-year lab experience or ITI.

Age Limit:
Assistant, Personal Assistant and Technical Assistant: 18 to 30 years
UDC and LDC: 18 to 27 years
Technician-1: 18 to 28 years
Lab Attendant-1: 18 to 25 years

The application fee for the recruitment process is structured according to categories:
UR, OBC and EWS candidates must pay Rs. 2000.
Women candidates must pay Rs. 1600.

Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be on the basis of a Computer Based Test, Skill Test or Computer Proficiency Test and Document Verification. The written exam pattern will vary depending on the post. For administrative posts, the test includes English, GK, Reasoning, Computer Aptitude and Quantitative Aptitude. For technical posts, the test includes the same subjects with more weightage to technical knowledge.
