ICDS Kupwara Felicitates Head Assistant Wali Mohammad Shah on Retirement – Alfaaz – The Words

Kupwara: The Integrated Child Development Services Department Kupwara on Saturday organised a farewell function to mark the retirement of Head Assistant Wali Mohammad Shah, acknowledging his long and dedicated service in government.

The programme was attended by senior officers and invited guests. Special Secretary Hafeezullah Masoodi attended as chief guest. Those present included District Programme Officer Kupwara Yaar Ali, ACR Kupwara Mumtaz Ahmed, former Deputy Director ICDS Rashida, all Child Development Project Officers including CDPO Lolab Abdul Qayoom Wani, senior ICDS officials, and State Awardee, District President Journalist fraternity Kupwara Yahya Sultan.

Speakers highlighted Wali Mohammad Shah’s professional conduct and commitment to duty. He was described as a disciplined, sincere, and hardworking official who discharged his responsibilities with consistency and integrity. The speakers referred to his contributions to departmental functioning and extended best wishes for a healthy and fulfilling post retirement life.

The occasion also witnessed the felicitation of two other officials who recently retired from service. CDPO Fayaz Ahmad Tantary and Senior Assistant ICDS Langate Abdul Rashid were honoured in recognition of their service and dedication during their tenure.

A large number of ICDS supervisors and field workers attended the function, reflecting wide participation from across the department. The programme concluded with the presentation of mementoes to the retiring officials and a formal vote of thanks, marking the end of their service careers on a respectful note.
