HVF Technician Recruitment 2026 Apply Offline For Tank Driver AFV Posts

Heavy Vehicles Factory (HVF), a unit of Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited (AVNL), Ministry of Defence, has released an official notification inviting offline applications from eligible Indian Ex-Servicemen for the post of Technician (Tank Driver AFV) on Fixed Term Employment (FTE) basis.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age Limit: 50 Years

Age will be calculated as on the closing date of application submission.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must:

• Be retired from Indian Army
• Possess knowledge and skills to operate Armoured Fighting Vehicles (AFV) such as: T-72, T-90, MBT Tanks
• Must possess Grade-I Certificate issued by: Armoured Corps Centre & School (ACC&S), Ahmednagar
• Must be physically fit and medically suitable.

Salary Details

Selected candidates will receive:

• Basic Pay: Rs. 23,000 per month
• Industrial Dearness Allowance (IDA)
• Special Allowance: 5% of Basic Pay
• Annual Increment: 3% of Basic Pay

Additional Benefits:

• Rs. 3000 monthly allowance
• Provident Fund (EPF)
• Gratuity benefits
• Accident Insurance
• Ex-gratia benefit up to Rs. 10 Lakhs (in case of death due to accident)

Contract Duration

• Initial Contract Period: 1 Year
• Extendable up to: 4 Years
  (Based on performance and requirement)

Selection Process

Selection will be based on:

• Document Verification
• Trade Test (Practical)

Trade Test Nature:

• Qualifying only
• Result: FIT / UNFIT

Preference Criteria:

1. Ex-servicemen previously engaged as Tank Driver in HVF
2. Younger candidates will get preference
3. Alphabetical order if Date of Birth is same.
