Himayat’s hat-trick defines RKFC U-16 home win

Srinagar, Feb 15: Moments after completing his hat-trick, young Himayat paused, picked up a marker and wrote a simple yet powerful line on his jersey, “Mom, your blessings are my real victory.” As he turned towards the stands at TRC Ground, the message drew applause that went beyond football, capturing the hearts of everyone present.

The emotional tribute became the defining image of Real Kashmir FC U-16’s commanding 7–1 victory over Young Football Club in their first home match of the AIFF Junior League on Sunday.

The match, as per a statement, marked RKFC U 16’s debut on home soil in the league, having previously played their fixtures outside Jammu and Kashmir. From the opening whistle, the locally born lineup asserted control, maintaining possession and converting chances with clinical precision.

The team’s relentless attack and organised defence overwhelmed the visitors, with goals coming from a well-distributed attacking unit, showcasing the depth of talent in RKFC’s youth ranks.

Owned by Arshad Shawl, Real Kashmir FC continues its mission to provide a platform for Kashmiri youth. RKFC remains the only club from Jammu and Kashmir competing in the national I-League, now rebranded as the Indian Football League.
