Doda, September 29, 2025: On the 13th day of the ongoing Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar campaign, the Health Department Doda, organized a series of health screening check-ups and awareness camps at multiple locations across the district on 29-09-2025.
The camps were successfully conducted at various sites including Drone Jamani, Indralla, Khellani, Tantna, Hanch, Jodhpur, Chakra Bijarni, and several other parts of the district.
On this occasion, a wide range of health services were provided to the public, which included Antenatal check-ups (ANC), Screening for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), Tuberculosis (TB) screening, Hemoglobin (Hb) testing , Vaccination for pregnant ladies and children, Free diagnostic tests and Distribution of free medicines
In addition, health education sessions were held on crucial topics such as personal hygiene, menstrual health management, and proper handwashing techniques.
The activities were held under the guidance of Block Medical Officers (BMOs) and the overall supervision of Chief Medical Officer Doda, Dr. Om Kumar.
The initiative witnessed active participation of the local population, reflecting the growing awareness about preventive health care. The Health Department reaffirmed its commitment to continue such outreach programmes to ensure quality health services reach every corner of the district.
