SRINAGAR: The Haj Committee of India under the Ministry of Minority Affairs has announced the opening of applications for Haj 2026, with the online application window active from July 7 to July 31, 2025 (11:59 PM).
According to the official notification, intending pilgrims must apply through the online Haj Application Form available on the official website and via the mobile app “HAJ SUVIDHA” on both Android and iOS platforms.
A machine-readable Indian International Passport is mandatory for all applicants. The passport must be issued on or before the closing date of application (July 31, 2025) and should remain valid at least till December 31, 2026.
Applicants are advised to thoroughly read the Guidelines and Undertakings before submitting their forms. The Haj Committee has also warned that cancellations, except in cases of death or grave medical illness, may attract penalties and lead to financial loss.
“Pilgrims are advised to apply only after careful consideration of their preparedness and commitment to undertake the pilgrimage,” the notification.
