
SRINAGAR: Gulmarg on Sunday registered the highest temperature in Kashmir valley, with a maximum of 2.0°C — 3.5°C above the seasonal average, according to the meteorological department.
Much of the Valley, however, continued to remain in the grip of severe cold.
Srinagar recorded a minimum of –1.8°C, while Pahalgam dropped to –3.2°C, Baramulla to –3.4°C, and Shopian to –4.0°C, reflecting the prevailing cold wave conditions.
MeT further said temperatures are likely to fall further in the coming days.
