Govt re-designates Shahid Iqbal Choudhary as Commissioner Secretary

Srinagar, Dec 30: The Jammu and Kashmir government has re-designated Shahid Iqbal Choudhary as Commissioner Secretary to the Government.

The development comes in the wake of his promotion to the Super Time Scale.

“Consequent upon promotion of Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary to the Super Time Scale (level 14 in the pay matrix) vide order issued by the Ministry of the Home Affairs, Government of India, under endorsement No 14016/24/2025, UTS-I dated December 19 of 2025, the officer is hereby designated as Commissioner/Secretary to the government, Science and Technology Department,” reads an order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD).
