Govt Medical College Kathua Invites Applications For Technical Assistant And Technician Posts

Government Medical College and Associated Hospitals, Kathua has issued an official notice inviting applications from eligible candidates of Jammu and Kashmir for engagement on Academic Arrangement Basis. The appointment is for the post of Technical Assistant or Technician under S.O 364 of 2020, dated 27 November 2020, for one year or till the selection or promotion process is completed, whichever is earlier.

According to the notice, candidates domiciled in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir can apply for the available posts by submitting their applications in the prescribed format along with required documents and fees before the last date mentioned below. The selection will be made through a written test of multiple-choice questions.

Applicants must ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements, submit all documents, and pay the non-refundable fee while applying. The details of the post, eligibility, and selection process are given below.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Science or higher qualification with Diploma or Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology from any recognized institute or Medical Assistant Course from a recognized institute.

The age limit is as per the recruitment rules of the Jammu and Kashmir Government applicable to Academic Arrangement posts.

Selection Process:
he selection process will be based on a Written Test (MCQ Type) carrying 100 points. The shortlisting of candidates for the written test will be announced on the official website of GMC Kathua.

How to Apply:
Applicants need to submit their application form in Annexure “A” along with relevant documents and a non-refundable fee of Rs. 200. The payment can be made online at the time of submission of the application form. Candidates are also required to submit an affidavit duly attested by a First Class Magistrate at the time of joining in the prescribed Annexure “B” format.
