Government Polytechnic College Shopian has released an official empanelment notice inviting applications from eligible candidates for engagement as Guest Faculty for the Academic Session November–December 2025. The engagement will be on a purely temporary basis until regular faculty is appointed or the academic session concludes.

Eligibility Criteria:
i) Physics – Post Graduation Degree in Physics from a recognized University with at least 55% marks
ii) Engineering Graphics – B.Tech in Civil/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with at least 55% marks

Candidates must possess the prescribed qualification with minimum 55% marks.
Only shortlisted candidates will be engaged as per merit ranking.

Emoluments:
Guest Faculty will be paid Rs. 750 per hour of lecture, subject to a ceiling of Rs. 20,000 per month.

Terms & Conditions:
The engagement of Guest Faculty is for one academic session or until regular faculty fills the post.
Engagement may be terminated earlier if required.
Selection will be made strictly on merit ranking based on defined criteria.
