GMC Rajouri reschedules Junior Residents’ written examination amid weather disruptions

Rajouri, Aug 29: The Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri has announced the postponement of the written examination for the post of Junior Residents in view of the prevailing inclement weather conditions in the region.

The examination, which was earlier scheduled to be held on August 31, 2025, could not take place as per the original schedule due to continuous bad weather affecting normal activities.

According to the fresh notification issued by the Principal GMC Rajouri, the examination will now be conducted on September 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Mehra Campus.

The decision was taken to ensure the safety and convenience of the candidates appearing for the test, given the challenges posed by heavy rains and road blockades in the area, the notification reads.
