Eligibility Criteria of GMC Anantnag Jr. Staff Nurse Vacancy

Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Science and possess a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institute or State Medical Faculty or J&K Paramedical Council.

Age Limit
The age of the applicant must not be below 18 years and must not be above 63 years as on the cut-off date.

Domicile
Applicants must be domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and must possess a valid domicile certificate issued by the competent authority on or before the cut-off date.

Selection Process

The selection for the post of Junior Staff Nurse will be made purely on the basis of merit obtained in the written or OMR-based examination. There will be no negative marking. The question paper will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions in English language only.

Salary and Engagement Period

Selected candidates will be paid salary at the minimum of the pay scale as per S.O. 364 of 2020. The engagement will be for one year, extendable up to a maximum of six years on yearly basis, subject to satisfactory performance.

Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 300. The fee is non-refundable and must be paid through a Demand Draft in favour of Principal, Government Medical College, Dialgam Anantnag.
