Fresh drone movement reported on LoC, IB

Rajouri, Jan 15: Fresh drone movement of suspected Pakistani drones has been reported both on Line of Control (LoC) as well as International Border (IB) continuing the prevailing situation of security concern.

In Poonch, the Army reportedly fired gunshots to shoot down the drone that later returned to area of PoK. As per officials, a suspected Pakistani drone movement was picked by troops on LoC in Digwar of Poonch on Thursday evening following which an alert was issued. The troops manning LoC also resorted to firing to shoot down the drone which however returned to other side of LoC.

A fresh security alert has been issued after this drone intrusion attempt and area domination exercises have been taken up by forces in area close to the LoC sector. Another drone sighting has been reported from International Border (IB) in Samba. This is the third major drone intrusion attempt on LoC in a week in Rajouri and Poonch areas raising security concern among the forces.
