Four policemen injured in Poonch road accident

Srinagar, Oct 25: Atleast four policemen were injured after their vehicle met with an accident in Gursai Mendhar area of Poonch district on Saturday.

Officials told GNS that a vehicle carrying cops skidded off the road which resulted in an accident.

In this incident four Jammu and Kashmir policemen were injured and were immediately shifted to the Sub-District Hospital Mendhar for treatment.

BMO Mendhar Dr Zulfikar Choudhary told GNS that that all the injured are stated to be stable.

The injured have been identified as constable Javid Ahmed, SPO Mohd Khurshid, Showket Ahmed and Constable Nasar Ahmed

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
