Former minister Hakeem Yaseen, Non-Migrant Minority Youth delegation call on LG Sinha

Srinagar, Jul 11: Former Minister and People’s Democratic Front (PDF) President, Hakeem Muhammad Yaseen, called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday.

He was accompanied by PDF General Secretary Nissar Paul; Vice President Showkat Ahmad Raina; chief spokesman Mushtaq Shameem, and Srinagar District President of PDF Sheikh Abul Rashid.

The delegation put forth various important matters pertaining to youth empowerment, promotion of the tourism sector, and reopening of tourist destinations in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

They also requested the constitution of the Nilnag Development Authority to boost infrastructure and ensure planned, eco-friendly development of the scenic Nilnag area in Budgam.

LG Sinha assured the members of the delegation that appropriate action would be taken to address the issues projected by them. Meanwhile, a delegation of Non-Migrant Minority Youth from Kashmir also called on the LG.

The members of the delegation apprised LG Sinha of various welfare issues of the non-migrant minority population living in Kashmir.
