Jammu, March 14: Former DGP J&K R R Swain has been appointed as Chairman of the Odisha Uniformed Services Staff Selection Commission ( OUSSSC).
The appointment of the 1991 batch IPS officer was announced on Friday. He has served the police in J&K in different and challenging positions .
He served during the crucial times when J&K was battling Pakistan sponsored terrorism and posing serious challenges for the system .
He retired as DGP in 2024z
